Volunteering
Adults of all ages (16 +) and backgrounds volunteer at Calderdale Wood Recycling. You don’t need any experience and can do as little as 4 hours a week. There are lots of activities to get involved with and full training is provided.
As a volunteer you can get involved in:
- Preparing timber for sale
- Welcoming and assisting customers
- Making products in our wood workshop
- Sales and marketing activities
If you have carpentry skills, there may be opportunities for you to help other volunteers design and make items for sale, including bespoke orders and run classes.
